Lafayette Community Fridge
A project of Foodies of Lafayette
Take what you need. Leave what you can.
The Lafayette Community Fridge builds sustainable, community-supported structures that address food insecurity with free, accessible food — open to everyone, no questions asked.
Three ways in
Whether you’re hungry, have a little to spare, or want to roll up your sleeves — there’s a place for you here.
Find food
Our Acadiana Community Food Resources Map shows every known fridge, pantry, and hot-meal provider — Lafayette to New Iberia, Abbeville to Maurice. Free and open to all.
Give
Every dollar buys food and keeps the fridges running. Donate in seconds — any amount makes a real difference on the shelves.
Volunteer
Help pick up, stock, and tend the fridges. Grab a slot for our Lagneaux’s donation runs, and join the volunteer crew to see where help is needed next.
