Steamed Crab Legs
Share
Lauren Gauthier treats herself to steamed crab legs or boiled crawfish on Friday nights to get into weekend mode. Six minutes in the steamer basket and a stick of melted butter, and that's the whole thing.
Ingredients
- 1 pound frozen crab legs
- Salt
- 1 stick butter
- 3 tablespoons Britt's Cooking Cajun Seasoning
- 3 tablespoons Best Stop Cajun Seasoning
Instructions
- Get the water going. Put a small amount of water in the bottom of a steamer pot and add a pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil. Lauren uses a Cajun Ninja pot.
- Prep the crab legs. While the water heats, wash off the crab legs, making sure all the ice is removed.
- Season. Season both sides with the Britt's and Best Stop seasonings.
- Steam. Put the crab legs in the basket, close the lid, and set a timer for 6 minutes.
- Melt the butter. While they steam, melt a stick of butter in the microwave.
- Rest and serve. Let the crab legs sit about 1 minute before eating.
