Smoked Ribs

Reggie Ougel's method is char first, then wrap. Six hundred degrees to get color on both sides, then Stubbs and a double layer of foil before they go back on low. Five ingredients and no smoker required.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of ribs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Stubbs BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Season. Once the meat is at room temperature, heavily apply salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat the grill. While applying the seasoning, bring the grill to 600°F.
  3. Char. Char the ribs starting on the bone side first, then flip.
  4. Sauce and wrap. Once both sides are evenly charred, remove from the heat, apply Stubbs sauce, then double wrap with aluminum foil.
  5. Cook low. Cook on the grill at 275°F for 45 minutes per side, starting with the bone side down.
  6. Serve. Unwrap and enjoy.
