Katie Albarado's answer to a weeknight with kids in the kitchen. Cut the dough into rounds and hand it over. Her note: they may not all look perfect, but they're guaranteed to taste better when little hands helped make them.
Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough, or homemade pizza dough
- Pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Mini pepperoni slices
- Italian seasoning, optional
- Garlic powder, optional
Instructions
- Heat the oven. Preheat to 425°F.
- Cut the dough. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into small circles. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sauce. Let the kids spread on pizza sauce, leaving a little room around the edges.
- Cheese. Add a generous handful of mozzarella.
- Top. Let everyone top their own with pepperoni and any other favorites.
- Season. Sprinkle with a little Italian seasoning or garlic powder if you like.
- Bake. Bake 10 to 14 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Serve. Cool a few minutes, then enjoy.
