Jason Stoner's Garlic Mushroom Toasts with Bacon & Manchego Cheese
A medley of tender sautéed mushrooms flavored with garlic and fresh herbs, piled onto crisp golden toast points and finished with melted, nutty Manchego cheese. A rich and satisfying bite that your guests will love. ~Jason Stoner

Ingredients:
- 4–5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 lb mixed mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 slices baguette or rustic bread
- 1 cup grated Manchego cheese
Directions:
- Place chopped bacon in a skillet and brown over medium-low heat.
- Add mushrooms, minced garlic, and black pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes until mushrooms are tender and slightly golden.
- Stir in chopped parsley and remove from heat.
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 5–7 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Top each toast with a generous spoonful of the garlic mushroom mixture and sprinkle with Manchego cheese.
- Return to the oven for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.
