BBQ Sunday
Share
This is a meal Abbey Ladner's family eats almost every week. Not one dish but a whole Sunday plate, cooked three pots and a grill at a time.
Ingredients
- BBQ chicken legs
- BBQ pork chops
- Buttered broccoli
- Smothered green beans with bacon
- Mac and cheese
- Garlic bread
Instructions
- Season the meat. Season all the meat with whatever makes your heart happy. Set it aside on the counter for about 20 minutes and go get the grill ready.
- Get three pots going. One with water for the mac and cheese, one for the broccoli, one for the green beans.
- Broccoli. Melt down a stick of butter in the broccoli pot and add garlic. Once melted, add frozen broccoli and seasoning. Put a lid on it, or a glass plate. Let it cook until soft.
- Green beans. In the green bean pot, add onions, garlic, and cubed bacon. Brown it down until the onions are soft. Add a stick of butter, then frozen or canned green beans. Season to taste and let it cook.
- Grill the meat. Put all the meat on the grill, checking and flipping as you go. The pork will be done first.
- Finish the sides. Make the mac and cheese according to the box. Put the garlic bread in the oven until browned.
- Serve. Serve and eat.
