BBQ Sunday

This is a meal Abbey Ladner's family eats almost every week. Not one dish but a whole Sunday plate, cooked three pots and a grill at a time.

Ingredients

  • BBQ chicken legs
  • BBQ pork chops
  • Buttered broccoli
  • Smothered green beans with bacon
  • Mac and cheese
  • Garlic bread

Instructions

  1. Season the meat. Season all the meat with whatever makes your heart happy. Set it aside on the counter for about 20 minutes and go get the grill ready.
  2. Get three pots going. One with water for the mac and cheese, one for the broccoli, one for the green beans.
  3. Broccoli. Melt down a stick of butter in the broccoli pot and add garlic. Once melted, add frozen broccoli and seasoning. Put a lid on it, or a glass plate. Let it cook until soft.
  4. Green beans. In the green bean pot, add onions, garlic, and cubed bacon. Brown it down until the onions are soft. Add a stick of butter, then frozen or canned green beans. Season to taste and let it cook.
  5. Grill the meat. Put all the meat on the grill, checking and flipping as you go. The pork will be done first.
  6. Finish the sides. Make the mac and cheese according to the box. Put the garlic bread in the oven until browned.
  7. Serve. Serve and eat.
